Loose leaf is more affordable than transfer and is perfect for most gilding purposes. It’s particularly good for carved surfaces. Choose from Silver and Copper.

Our loose leaf metal is available in books of 25 sheets, enough to cover around 0.49 metres squared (5.27 feet squared). Each sheet is 5.5 inches x 5.5 inches (140mm x 140mm).
Use the leaf with dry hands and stick the leaf on to a surface coated with Annie Sloan Gold Size.
Imitation Silver leaf is made of aluminium. To make it look like vintage silver, apply a light coat of Clear and Dark Chalk Paint Wax.
Copper leaf is made from copper which tarnishes, so apply a layer of Clear Chalk Paint Wax over your gilded surface to protect it.
