As we have believed from the beginning that paint is soothing for the soul, we believe our finishing products can be too. Our museum-quality wax is based on a 35-year-old family recipe. It is soft and smooth, easy to apply and provides a durable finish. Virtually odourless with no harsh chemicals.
How to clean or remove wax from your brushes and surfaces.
To effectively clean wax or Hemp Oil, even SFO residue, from your brushes or surfaces, we recommend using our Odourless Solvent. This solvent is designed to break down the wax/oil-based product, making it easier to remove.
This clear wax is infused with 100% all-natural lavender essential oils for an added aromatherapy while you wax. As this product contains only essential oils, the scents will diffuse quickly and is only intended to be apparent for the duration of waxing and will slowly fade away within a couple of days. The wax will not fill the room with a strong aroma of either scent and will not yellow over time.
For brushes, after soaking in the Odourless solvent to break down the wax / oil-based product, wash thoroughly with Fusions Brush Soap.
For heavily waxed furniture pieces, employ steel wool or a scouring pad, which, along with the Odourless solvent, can assist in eliminating the residue.
